Union Minister Nimuben Bambhaniya Lauds Sikkim’s Self-Reliance in Organic Farming
Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya has lauded Sikkim’s self-reliance in the field of organic farming, describing it as an inspiring example for the entire nation. The MoS met Governor of Sikkim Om Prakash Mathur in Gangtok today. The Governor mentioned about the practices of organic farming, women empowerment, and the cleanliness of the State.
The Union Minister addressed the Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) programme held at the Bharatiya Janata Party Sikkim Pradesh office in Gangtok today. Highlighting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, the Minister said that self-reliant India is a national resolve, achievable only when every Indian works with the spirit of ‘Nation First’.
