Lt Gen Avinash Das Assumes Charge as Commandant of Army Hospital

Lieutenant General Avinash Das has assumed charge as the Commandant of the Army Hospital Research and Referral in New Delhi. Lieutenant General Das is a specialist of Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) with nearly four decades of service in the Armed Forces Medical Services.
An alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, he has held several key posts, including Senior Advisor at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt and Command Hospital, Lucknow. As former Commandant of Command Hospital (Northern Command), he successfully oversaw the relocation of the Udhampur hospital to a new, state-of-the-art facility.
The Ministry of Defense highlighted that his leadership at Army Hospital (R&R) is expected to further enhance the institution’s excellence in healthcare, research and medical education.
