Delhi Hospitals Fully Prepared to Handle Burn Cases During Diwali
Major Hospitals in Delhi are fully prepared to deal with the cases of burn injuries during Diwali. The Burns and Plastic Surgery Unit of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, is fully prepared to deal with the cases of burn incidents in view of the Diwali festival. Talking to Akashvani News, Dr Maneesh Singhal, Head of the Department of Burns and Surgery,AIIMS said that ICU, Beds and Operation Theatre have been kept ready and Doctors and nurses have been deployed for the management of burn cases. Dr Singhal appealed to the people to say no to firecrackers and celebrate the festival in a safe manner.
