Voting for 100 bodies begins today
In Uttarakhand, voting for 100 municipal bodies will be held today from 8 am to 5 pm amid tight security arrangements. State Election Commissioner Sushil Kumar said that One thousand 515 polling centres and 3 thousand 394 polling booths have been set up for voting across the state. A total of 30 lakh 29 thousand voters will exercise their franchise. He said that elaborate security arrangements have been made to conduct the voting peacefully.
