Technical Assistant revaluates and attests already completed work

Even after complaint was found to be correct following probe, authorities still wait for action against the accused. The reason being former janpad panchayat officer Baikunthpur even without the signature of MNREGA programme officer had certified a work. On the other hand, former SDO following the directives of janpad officer has certified the work as he recently took charge and he was not aware about the valuation done earlier. The case is getting complicated soon after former janpad officer got transferred.
It needs to be mentioned here, at a distance of 4 km from district headquarter is situated village panchayat Narkeli where for the construction of ideal cow shed(gauthan), technical assistant Ashok Narayan Bairagi misusing his post, again revaluated and certified the already completed work. He entered into an unholy alliance with a builder and prepared a bill without actual supply of the material. Technical Assistant was making preparation to release payment of this bill. After the complaint reached CEO Zilla Panchayat Kunal Dudawat he immediately ordered probe and technical assistant was found at fault. The accused inorder to save himself started construction of gauthan. Earlier also accused has been charged of drawing amount from the panchayat by showing additional valuation. But every time political patronage saved this accused from any action.
As per information received, technical assistant Ashok Narayan Bairagi is always carrying complaints against him wherever he is posted but political patronage saved him from any action.
This time without construction of shed he submitted MB of Rs 10 lakh and by completing valuation and attestation he was ready to make payment. He did the work later but drew the amount before start of work.
