Rupee appreciates by 28 paise against US dollar –
In the Forex market, the rupee today appreciated by 28 paise to close at 84 rupees and 26 paise against the US dollar supported by decline in crude oil prices, positive trend in domestic equities, and robust foreign fund inflows. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 99.62 in intra-day trade.
