Rekha Jitendra Sonkar to receive award

Rajim, Nov 15: Rajim Nagar Panchayat has been selected for ‘Safai Mitra Challenge award’. There are total of 46 urban bodies of Chhattisgarh included in this award and in this Rajim Nagar Panchayat is also included. To receive the award, Rekha Jitendra Sonkar will be leaving for Delhi on Nov 18. On selection of Rajim Nagar Panchayat, Rekha Jitendra Sonkar has greeted all the citizens of the Panchayat and to all the members of the Council.
It is notable here that the award presentation programme of ‘Swachcchat Sarvekshan 2021 star rating ‘safai mitra’ suraksha challenge’ award will be held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on Nov 20 and it will be chaired by the President of India Ramnath Kovind.
Commenting on her selection for receiving the award, Rekha Jitendra Sonkar said that she is always committed for development of Rajim city and that she always remained on alert when it comes to basic amenities. She said that this is the blessing of Lord Shri Rajiv Lochan that Rajim city has been selected for the award and that we would continue to work for more cleaner city and good sanitation and for positive development.
