Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Launches Three New Door-to-Door Freight and Parcel Services
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today virtually inaugurated and flagged off three new door-to-door freight and parcel services. The services were inaugurated alongside an Assured Transit Container Service from Delhi to Kolkata and a Door to Door parcel service by utilising railways parcel van from Mumbai to Kolkata.
The door-to-door parcel service will ensure efficient handling of goods for faster and on-time delivery. Briefing the media, Mr Vaishnaw said, door-to-door service efficiency is very essential for the country. He added that the service will foster real efficiency and reduce logistic costs.
