Providing good education to every child is priority of the govt: CM

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that it is the priority of the government to provide the best education for every child of Chhattisgarh. As part of the efforts being made in this direction, the Swami Atmanand English Medium School Scheme has been started. This is a campaign to build a future Chhattisgarh. He said that the objective of this campaign is to prepare the students of Chhattisgarh as a competent participant for all future competitions.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was addressing the training session of the principals of Swami Atmanand English Schools through video conferencing from his residence office this evening. On this occasion, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Chaubey, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrat Sahoo, Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi and senior officials were present. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel further said that the responsibility of better operation, education and management of English schools is on the shoulders of the principals and their team.
He hoped that the students who get education from these schools will be sensitive to the best of citizens, humanity and nature. We will fulfill these dreams through Swami ji’s dream of building future generations of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said that in the first phase 52 government schools in the state have been upgraded as fully equipped English schools under this scheme.
All these schools have modern library, laboratory, computer and online education facility. He asked the principals to create an environment in the schools that would make them proud to be part of these schools along with students, teachers and themselves. Districts have been given autonomy to ensure that there is no reduction in the quality of your school. The Chief Minister congratulated the Education Department for better implementation and excellent work of this scheme and said that the development of these schools is going on as per the vision of the government.
I hope that the Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools will have a better future under the efficient leadership of the principals. On this occasion, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam said that education is a reflection of society. According to the Chief Minister’s thinking, a successful effort has been made to provide better education and opportunities to children in the state through English medium. He expressed the hope that the principal and the team of teachers will discharge their duties well. Earlier, Principal Secretary of the Education Department, Dr. Alok Shukla said that ten-day motivational training is being given to the principals of English schools in the Academy of Administration. Today is the third day of training. He said that the principals of English medium schools are doing better from administrative and management point of view.
About 30 thousand students admitted to schools have been associated with online education as well as various creative activities. He said that 170 English schools would start operating in the state from the upcoming education session.
