PM Modi, Xi Jinping Discuss Global Economy at SCO Summit Bilateral Meet

The Ministry of External Affairs has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed the international economic situation during the bilateral meeting held on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Tianjin, China today. Briefing the media Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that the focus of the discussion remained in the bilateral domain. He said that the two leaders recognised the challenges emanating at the global level. Both sides also discussed how to take forward the economic and commercial relationship between India and China in the midst of these evolving challenges.
