PM Modi urges unity, resource conservation amid global uncertainties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged citizens to remain united and conserve resources in the face of growing global uncertainties, saying the ongoing crisis in West Asia was having an impact across the world, including on India.
Addressing a large gathering of BJP workers and supporters in Bengaluru, the Prime Minister said the country needed patience, discipline and collective responsibility to navigate the current situation.
“You are witnessing the challenges across the world. The crisis in West Asia is continuing, and the impact of the war is being felt globally. Bharat is also affected by this situation,” PM Modi said.
Appealing to people to act in the national interest, he said India had successfully overcome difficult periods in the past through unity and a spirit of patriotism.
“At a time when the nation is progressing, we need to remain patient. We must collectively save resources and protect the interests of the country. Just as we unitedly faced the challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic with a spirit of patriotism, we once again need to stand together to overcome the present crisis,” he said.
The Prime Minister stressed that individual responsibility and collective effort would help the country tackle every challenge effectively.
