PM Modi shares article on Sikkim’s journey towards ‘Viksit Sikkim 2047’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared an article authored by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia highlighting the rich legacy, cultural identity and developmental journey of Sikkim as the Himalayan state entered its 51st year of statehood.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister referred to the significance of Khangchendzonga, describing it as the protector of Sikkim’s land, memory and consciousness.
PM Modi noted that the article underlined how the “five treasures” of Khangchendzonga continue to guide and inspire the state’s progress while paving the way for ‘Viksit Sikkim 2047’.

Sharing his article on X, Scindia said: “During my recent visit to Sikkim for the 51st Statehood Day celebrations, I witnessed how the spirit of Khangchendzonga and the legend of the Five Treasures continue to shape the state’s remarkable journey of harmony, sustainability, spirituality and inclusive development”.
