PM Modi meets IGNCA Trustees, discusses ways to promote India’s cultural heritage

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met the Trustees of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) to discuss measures aimed at further promoting India’s diverse cultural heritage.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister explored ways to expand public participation in cultural initiatives and bring more people into the process of preserving and promoting India’s traditions.

Discussions also focused on strengthening outreach through digital platforms and grassroots efforts, with an emphasis on making cultural resources more accessible to wider audiences.

The Prime Minister highlighted the need to support artists and scholars, underlining their role in safeguarding and advancing India’s rich heritage.

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts is a premier institution dedicated to research, preservation and promotion of India’s cultural and artistic traditions.
