PM Modi holds roadshow at Bhubaneswar in Odisha –

Prime Minister Narendra arrived at the Biju Patnaik International Airport at Bhubaneswar in Odisha a short while ago. Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and other senior officials welcomed the Prime Minister at the Airport from where Mr Modi joined a roadshow. Thousands of people greeted the Prime Minister with the tricolor during his roadshow to Janata Maidan, the venue of the state-level function organised to mark the completion of one year of the first BJP government in the state led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the function as the chief guest and address a public rally. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over 18,600 crore rupees on the occasion. These projects cover critical sectors including drinking water, irrigation, agricultural and health infrastructure, rural roads and bridges, sections of national highways, and few railway projects. Mr Modi will release the ‘Odisha Vision Document – 2036’ which anchors around the landmark year, when Odisha completes 100 years as India’s first linguistic state. The vision document will outline an ambitious and future-ready roadmap for Odisha’s inclusive growth.
