Pakistan-operated drug cartel busted; 60 kg Heroin seized –

In a joint operation by Punjab Police, Border Security Force (BSF) and Rajasthan Police, an international drug cartel, operated from Pakistan, has been dismantled.
Punjab Police Chief, Gaurav Yadav, informed that in this massive crackdown, a big consignment of over 60 kilograms of Heroin has been recovered from near the International Border in Barmer, Rajasthan. He said Pak-based smuggler Tanveer Shah and Canada-based handler Joban Kaler were operating this cartel.

 

He said 9 key operatives & hawala operators have also been arrested from across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan & Jammu and Kashmir.
