Over 10 Crore LPG Connections Released Under PM Ujjwala Yojana: Govt
The government today said that over 10 crore LPG connections have been released among the beneficiaries since the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in 2016. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Suresh, said that over 29 lakh applications for release of LPG connections are pending in the country. He informed that no timeline has been set for clearance of pending applications under the scheme.
