Nava Jatan to compensate learning loss of children during Corona period

Raipur, Dec 06: During the Corona period, due to the closure of schools for about 18 months, the loss of education to the children will be compensated through the innovative initiative Nava Jatan Bridge 2.0 of the Chhattisgarh government to compensate for the learning loss. This scheme has been started by the Government of Chhattisgarh to provide remedial education to the backward children in the present class level. Last month, baseline assessments were conducted in the entire state of Chhattisgarh and its entry has been made on the student-wise record portal for 96 percent children of the entire Chhattisgarh. From which the educational level of each child can be ascertained, in which grade level the child is. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam launched the Nava Jatan program on Saturday December 04, 21 at State Council of Educational Research and Training, Raipur. He also addressed the members of the resource group present from the state in the training organised for three days and asked them to bring the children who are lagging behind in studies to the present class level by using the new saving guide, so that they can be brought to their present class level. During the Corona period, Nava Jatan program will be conducted to provide remedial education to such students in the schools of the state, who are backward in the current class due to the learning loss, a three-day training program was organized for this at the state level. For which Nava Jatan program has been created by the School Education Department’s SCERT under Bridge Course 2.0. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Education Secretary Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Joint Secretary Education and SCERT Director Mr. Rajesh Singh Rana, Dr. Yogesh Shivhare, Additional Director SCERT were present during the launch of the Nava Jatan.
In the three-day training organized at the state level, Bhuvneshwar Patel, APCA Samagra Shiksha, Santosh Kumar Patel, Lecturer DIET, Satyendra Basant, CAC Bhikhampura and Rajkumar Patel, CAC, Putkapuri received three days training as source person from Raigarh district. During the training, the state source teacher Sunil Mishra and his team gave detailed training of the module prepared by SCERT. After training, now two days training of cluster educational coordinators of all 348 clusters of the district will be organized at Diet Dharamjaygarh. In which they will be trained in detail to implement the Nava Jatan program, after the training, all the educational coordinators will train all the teachers working from class I to VIII in all the schools under their cluster, so that the learning loss that has happened in the children can be compensated.
