MoPR signs MoU with Bhashini to Bridge Language Barriers in Rural Governance –

The agreement between the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s Bhashini will not only break language barriers but also promote inclusion among states across the country. Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Prof. SP Baghel said this while presiding over the MoU signing ceremony in New Delhi. He said that this collaboration will enhance language accessibility across key portals and platforms of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. Lauding Bhashini initiative, the Minister said this agreement will strengthen the unity, integrity, and brotherhood of India.
The MoU aims to promote the use of AI-enabled public digital infrastructure to empower Panchayati Raj Institutions and strengthen participatory democracy at the grassroots level.
