Minister Dr Jitendra Singh hosts Maldives Delegation for capacity building training in India
Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Dr Jitendra Singh today met with 30 high-level delegation led by Maldives Minister of State for Cities, Local Government and Public Works Ahmad Salim.
In a social media post, Dr Jitendra Singh informed that the team was in India for a Capacity Building Training Programme organised by the National Centre for Good Governance. He added that the programme focuses on sharing India’s administrative experience and best practices in governance and policy implementation.
The Union Minister stated that the Indian system offers a valuable case study in balancing policy formulation with ground-level execution, a model that countries with emerging democratic structures can adapt to their local needs.
During the interaction, Dr Jitendra Singh underlined India’s governance model to them. Adding to it, he said that the nation anchored in technology-driven efficiency, transparency, and local empowerment which has evolved through continuous reform and innovation.
