Maharashtra Becomes First State to Partner with Starlink for Satellite-Based Internet Services

Maharashtra has become the first state in India to sign an agreement with Starlink Satellite Communications Private Limited to provide satellite-based internet services across government institutions and rural areas. The Letter of Intent was signed today in the presence of  Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Commenting on the collaboration, Mr. Fadnavis said, it would help bridge the last digital divide connecting every village, school and health even at the remotest place.
