India’s Anish Bhanwala Becomes First Individual Pistol Shooter to Medal at ISSF World Championships
In shooting, India’s Anish Bhanwala has created history at the ISSF World Championships by clinching silver in the men’s 25-metre rapid fire pistol event at Cairo in Egypt. Anish hit 28 targets in the final holding.
The remarkable performance makes Anish the first Indian individual pistol shooter ever to win a World Championships medal at an Olympic event.
