India and Pakistan Play Out Thrilling 3-3 Draw in Malaysia
In the Sultan of Johor Cup, the Hockey match between India and Pakistan ended in a 3-3 draw at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium in Malaysia this evening.
Pakistan took an early 2-0 lead through Hannan and Sufiyan, but India hit back through Araijeet’s penalty stroke and a quick equaliser to make it 2-2. India struck late to earn a 3-2 lead before Sufiyan salvaged a 3-3 draw.
Earlier, India had registered a 3-2 win over Britain and a 4-2 conquest against New Zealand in previous matches.
