I&B Secretary Sanjay Jaju –

Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju today said that every creator who participated in WAVES is leaving as a star. The secretary said this while addressing a cultural session during WAVES in Mumbai.

Mr Jaju noted that the musicians who contested in the Create in India Challenge (CIC) captured the essence of India through their performances. He mentioned that the government will take the winners of all the musical competitions of CIC for future international tours and performances over more established names.

He further highlighted that WAVES has helped unearth such unique talents at a time when India lacks professional bands that showcase the essence of India on a global stage.

Talking exclusively to Akashvani News, Mr Jaju said that WAVES has been an incredible stage for investment, business, art and culture, establishing itself as a people’s movement.
