Govt convenes all party meeting at Parliament in wake of Operation Sindoor –

An all-party meeting convened by the Government in the wake of Operation Sindoor was held at Parliament today. During the meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the leaders of different political parties were briefed by the government on the Operation. Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar, BJP president J P Nadda, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi party leader Ram Gopal Yadav, TMC leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay, DMK leader T R Baalu, LJP leader and Union Minister Chirag Paswan, TDP Leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu, JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha, NCP leader Praful Patel, NCP(SP) leader Supriya Sule, Shiv Sena leader Shrikant Shinde, Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut, CPI(M) leader Jhon Brittas, BJD leader Sasmit Patra, RJD Leader Prem Chand Gupta attended the meeting among others.

Leaders cutting across party lines have lauded Operation Sindoor and expressed pride athe t Armed Forces’ action against terrorists. Opposition had earlier extended its support for any action that the government takes in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack.
