Raipur, May 08: The state government is carrying out free vaccination of people aged between 18 and 44 years in government centres to protect them from COVID-19 infection. Vaccination works are being carried out by the district administration with compliance of guidelines for prevention of Covid-19 at various vaccination centers.
28-year-old Akanksha Nayak of District Headquarters Mahamsund told that she had been wishing for a long time to get a vaccine dise against COVID-19. All the elderly persons in her house had already received vaccine doses and that she also had a desire to get herself vaccinated against COVID. Antyodaya beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 44 years were vaccinated as per priority from May 01, due to limited supply of vaccine by the state government.
But from now on, vaccination has been started for all classes of people between 18 and 44 years of age. ‘I was very happy to know this and was looking forward to the opportunity. Because of this, I came here today for vaccination. Now I will motivate my colleagues to get themselves vaccinated against COVID-19 soon’, said Akanksha. Expressing thanks to the Chief Minister of the state, Bhupesh Baghel, she said said that on his instruction, free vaccination work of all the people of the state was being done in government hospitals and designated centers. This is a very commendable work. It is a sensitive government, she added.
Similarly, 37-year-old Sumit Aggarwal said that despite supply of limited vaccine doses of Covid-19, the district administration was making better arrangements for vaccination of people. This will definitely benefit the youth, he said and added that even after receiving vaccination doses, we should follow the prescribed COVID guidelines so as to protect our families and society from COVID-19 infection.
Anand Kamdar said that he was very keen to get COVID-19 vaccine dose.
He arrived at the hospital on scheduled time to receive vaccine dose. Health workers in the hospital are adequately vaccinating the beneficiaries by following the guide line of COVID-19. According to him the team of the state government, district administration and health department are doing better work in the hour of this crisis. He has expressed his gratitude to the state government and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for carrying out free vaccination.
