Congress to celebrate 100 Years of Belagavi Session
The Congress party is celebrating 100 years of the Belagavi Congress Session presided over by Mahatma Gandhi in 1924. A two-day mega event begins tomorrow at Belagavi, Karnataka, which includes a Congress conference and the unveiling of the Mahatma statue. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mr. Siddaramaiah has announced that a yearlong program is being organised to spread the message and ideals of Gandhiji.
AICC President Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge and other leaders are likely to participate in the programme.
