Chh’garh receives fresh consignment of Covaxin

Raipur, Jul 17: Chhattisgarh government on Saturday received one more consignment of Covaxin of Bharat Biotech for the ongoing vaccination campaign against Covid 19 here.
According to the information received, Indigo flight brought 7 boxes of Covaxin with the total weight of 202 kgs at Raipur Airport which was handed over to the officials from department of Health & Family Welfare.
Nearly 50 thousand doses of Covaxin would now be available for the people under the vaccination campaign.
With the fresh consignments from both Covaxin and Covishield, the Chhattisgarh government has adequate stock of vaccine. Almost all the districts too have been given allocation of vaccine for both first and second doses to the eligible people for next few days. Vaccination drive would gain momentum once again which had suffered setback due to the limited availability of vaccine.
