Raipur: Chhattisgarh has achieved a major milestone in digital infrastructure and foreign investment. At the Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026, the state received investment commitments worth a total of ₹43,250 crore.

The largest proposal came from Singapore-based Energy Capital Global, which plans to invest ₹41,750 crore to develop a 100 MW AI-Ready Data Center Campus in Chhattisgarh.

100 MW AI-Ready Data Center Campus Planned

Singapore-headquartered Energy Capital Global Private Limited operates in the development and financing of AI-ready data centers powered by on-site clean energy across the Asia-Pacific region. The company has a presence in Singapore, India, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Australia.

During SING Forum 2026, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai presented the company with an Invitation to Invest. Under the proposal, a 100 MW AI-Ready Data Center Campus will be developed in the state.

Company CEO Stanislav Borisov said Chhattisgarh has the energy, land and government support required for AI infrastructure. He described the proposal as the beginning of a long-term partnership with the state and said the company intends to move forward with the development of a large AI-ready data center campus in central India.

New Investment Could Strengthen Chhattisgarh’s Digital Infrastructure

The proposed investment could further strengthen Chhattisgarh’s rapidly developing digital infrastructure sector. According to the state’s press release, Chhattisgarh already has India’s first AI Data Center Park.

The new proposal, combined with the state’s existing digital infrastructure, is being viewed as an important step toward developing Chhattisgarh as an emerging digital infrastructure hub in India.

₹1,500 Crore Proposal for Solar and Battery Storage

Chhattisgarh also received investment interest in the clean energy sector during the SING Forum.

Sunstream Green Energy Private Limited has proposed an investment of ₹1,500 crore in solar energy, battery storage and related components.

The proposed investment could support the development of industries linked to renewable energy and energy storage in the state.

Chief Minister Says Investment Proposals Reflect Confidence in Chhattisgarh

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said the investment commitments received at the Singapore forum reflect investor confidence in Chhattisgarh’s policies, economic potential and people.

He said the proposed projects are expected to create employment and new opportunities for young people while contributing to the state’s goal of building a developed Chhattisgarh.

Government Highlights More Than 450 Reforms

During a fireside chat with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at the SING Forum, Chief Minister Sai also highlighted the state’s industrial policies and ongoing reforms.

He said the government is directly engaging with industries to understand their challenges and make changes to the system accordingly. According to the Chief Minister, more than 450 reforms have been implemented in the state so far, with the reform process continuing.

Sai also claimed that Chhattisgarh has received investment proposals worth more than ₹8 lakh crore over the past 18 months, which he attributed to the state’s reforms, progressive industrial policies and proactive government approach.

Singapore Government and Global Companies Participate

Singapore’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Industry, Gan Siow Huang, attended SING Forum 2026 as the chief guest.

Senior executives from several global companies, including Mastercard, IHCL (Taj Hotels) and Nestlé, also participated in the event and shared their views.

During the forum, Chief Minister Sai held separate meetings with representatives of AquaTech and Adroit Overseas Private Limited. Discussions focused on infrastructure for the reuse of treated wastewater in industrial areas and opportunities in food processing in Chhattisgarh.

Investment Talks to Continue at CEO Roundtable

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is scheduled to meet senior executives of leading companies and investment institutions at a CEO Roundtable in Singapore on October 6, 2026.

The meeting is aimed at building on the investment momentum generated during the SING Forum and strengthening business relationships with potential investors interested in Chhattisgarh.
