BJP’s Devyani Rana Files Nomination for Nagrota By-Election in J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Devyani Rana today filed her nomination papers for the upcoming Nagrota Assembly by-election scheduled to be held on November 11. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that Devyani Rana, accompanied by senior BJP leaders and thousands of supporters, submitted her nomination before the returning officer in Jammu. Devyani Rana, daughter of the late Devender Singh Rana, the former Nagrota MLA whose demise necessitated the by-election, had joined active politics earlier this year. In January this year, she was appointed as the vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
