Ayush Pavilion Draws Strong Interest at India AI Impact Summit 2026 with AI

The Ayush Pavilion of the Union Ministry of Ayush at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 has attracted sustained engagement from visitors, innovators and international delegates, who interacted with the Ministry’s AI-powered solutions for traditional medicine systems.

The pavilion showcased AI-enabled chatbots offering personalised wellness guidance and service navigation, alongside Yoga Posture AI — a computer vision-based tool that allows users to assess, correct and perform Yoga asanas with greater precision and safety.

Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, along with Vaidya Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), and senior officials reviewed the exhibits demonstrating digital initiatives and technology-enabled public health tools for the Ayush sector.

The Secretary appreciated the Ayush Grid team for their structured presentation of technology-driven interventions aimed at strengthening service delivery, research, education and governance across Ayush disciplines. He also visited pavilions of other exhibitors including Sarvam AI, MeitY, Meta, Google and others, engaging in discussions on the domain.

Secretary Kotecha highlighted the practical value of AI-based chatbots in supporting citizens, practitioners and institutions. He emphasised the strategic role of indigenous capabilities, stating: “India’s Sovereign AI Models must be leveraged to strengthen the Ayush digital ecosystem while ensuring data integrity, inclusivity and global interoperability. We must integrate artificial intelligence with traditional knowledge responsibly to create scalable, people-centric healthcare solutions.”

The pavilion presented the architecture of the Ayush Grid — India’s digital public health infrastructure for traditional medicine — with the My Ayush Integrated Services Portal (MAISP) serving as a unified gateway integrating healthcare services, education, research, medicinal plant information, drug administration and public outreach.

Live demonstrations of AI tools proved a major draw, with intelligent chatbots providing guidance and Yoga Posture AI showcasing real-time posture analysis for improved accuracy, safety and accessibility in Yoga practice. The pavilion also featured AI tools under development for clinical decision-making, standardisation, research analytics and public health outreach across Ayush disciplines.

Initiatives from the IIT Jodhpur Centre of Excellence were on display, highlighting research at the intersection of digital health, artificial intelligence and traditional medicine, with interactive sessions on collaborative work and emerging applications.

The IndiaAI–Ministry of Ayush Innovation Challenge also generated interest among startups and researchers visiting the pavilion. Through its participation, the Ministry of Ayush demonstrated how responsible adoption of advanced technologies can strengthen traditional health knowledge systems, contributing to the summit’s broader conversation on inclusive, people-centric AI applications.
