Asian Markets Show Mixed Trend; European Indices Surge Over 1%

Major Asian indices displayed mixed trends today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index gained 0.31 percent, Singapore’s Straits Times Index added 0.25 percent, and China’s Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.18 percent. Meanwhile, Japan’s Nikkei ended down over 0.3 percent, and South Korea’s Kospi fell 0.16 percent. Major European indices were trading in positive territory. London’s FTSE and France’s CAC were both trading over 1.1 percent up, and Germany’s DAX also advanced over one percent when reports last came in.
