Day-long ‘Kurmi Sanjha’ to be held tentatively on Nov 21

Bhilai, Aug 25: The members and office bearers of Yuva Kurmi Mitra Mandal, Bhilai Nagar are highly excited about the preparation of their multi-faceted programme ‘Kurmi Sanjha’. In this sequence, a special meeting was organized at Kurmi Bhawan, Bhilai Nagar the other day. The programme was conducted by Giriraj Deshmukh, General Secretary, Yuva Kurmi Mitra Mandal Bhilai Nagar.
Chief Guest of the meeting was Lok Sabha member Vijay Baghel (President of Chhattisgarh Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj). The special guests of the program were National Women President of All India Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj, Lata Rishi Chandrakar; and General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Kurmi Chhatriya Samaj, Puran Bais. The meeting was presided over by Rajesh Verma, President, Yuva Kurmi Mitra Mandal, Bhilai Nagar. The detailed information of the proposed programme was narrated by Gopal Krishna Verma, convener of Kurmi Sanjha and Ajay Chandrakar, co-convener. The detailed information about the compilation of bio-data and the outline of the ‘Milan Patrika’ was given by Editor-in-Chief Santosh Patanwar and Chief Editor Churaman Dilliwar. Pawan Chandrakar, Vice President, Yuva Kurmi Mitra Mandal, Bhilai Nagar proposed the vote of thanks. It has been decided to organize Kurmi Sanjha programme in Bhilai Nagar for this year. This prestigious programme will be tentatively organised on November 21. On the same day, Milan Patrika will be released. Eminent persons of the samaj and those who have done appreciable work in various fields will be honoured. Talented students will be felicitated. Along with this, a colourful cultural programme will also be organized during this daylong event. Chandrakant Deshmukh, Govind Prasad Verma, Narayan Barchiha, Saraswati Verma, Dr Dulari Chandrakar, Poornima Verma, Lata Deshmukh, Babita Deshmukh, Gajendra Chandrakar, Tukumchand Parganiha, Dakeshwar Parganiha, Kavita Kundan Verma, Anita Verma, Ved Kumar Chandrakar and others were present in the meeting.
