18-member team to participate in National Pickleball championship

The Chhattisgarh Pickleball team departed for Panipat, Haryana, to participate in the 8th National Pickleball Championship, scheduled from October 4-6.

Chhattisgarh’s 18-member team compete in various categories. The team comprises, Aarish Aga Choube, Harsh Bardiya, Devashish Manjhi in Under-14 Boys whereas the Girls team include Sanskriti Tayal, Suhanee Pathak

Under-19 Boys include Jivatesh Sarkar, Aakash Kushwaha. In the Open Men’s: Lukeesh Netam, Ajay Tandi, Ajay Nayak, Prem Prakash Dhruv, Monesh Yadav, Shivam Shrivastava whereas

Radheshyam Tandi, Rupendra Singh Chouhan and Darshan Aron are in senior category. Similarly, in the  50+ Women’s’ Shilpi Matreja, Reena Agarwal and Bhawna Chouhan

Chhattisgarh Olympic Association’s General Secretary Vikram Singh Sisodia, VIP Club Chairman Rakesh Pandey and Janatan TV’s State Head Nitin Choubey wished the team good luck.

The team’s selection was based on their performance in the state championship held in August.

Rupendra Singh Chouhan, General Secretary, Chhattisgarh Pickleball Association, shared the details through a press release.
