BJP launches protest over increase in crime across Chh’garh

Raipur, Mar 17: Launching agitation over the suspicious death of five persons of a Scheduled Caste family in Patan Legislative constituency of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the principal opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday held demonstration and attempted to burn the effigy to register protest across Chhattisgarh here.
BJP organized the above demonstration at Mandal Unit here to register protest against the alleged increase in crime and held the failure on part of state government responsible for the continuous death of people in suspicious circumstances in Chhattisgarh. After the demonstration, the BJP leaders raised demand from the state government to provide adequate compensation to the family members of Patan family and also to improve the law & order situation in Chhattisgarh.
State BJP President Vishnu Deo Sai claimed that people are agitated towards the state government as it has failed in every front.
He also raised demand for a high-level investigation in the incident in which 5 members of SC family from Patan constituency died in suspicious circumstances.
