SR Hospital & Research Centre felicitates Corona Warriors on I Day

Bhilai, Aug 20: SR Hospital and Research Centre celebrated the auspicious occasion of Independence Day at the hospital premises in Chikhali, Dhamdha Road, Durg with the unfurling of the tricolour.
It was followed by the felicitation of Corona warriors and those who motivated the general public to make Ayushman Bharat health cards (Dr Khoobchand Baghel Swashthya Sahayata Yojana) as well as the social workers who encouraged layman to get vaccinated and distributed ration during the first and second wave of Corona to the needy people in the society. Among those felicitated were social worker Trilochan Singh, former corporator Vinod Chelak, Latel Yadav, Shamim Ahmed, Chandan, Shiv and others. They were honoured with Shriphal and citation.
The chief guest of the programme was former Chief Medical and Health Officer Chhattisgarh Government Dr SP Kesarwani while Dr Ranjan Sengupta (cardiovascular surgeon) presided over the programme. Dr Manish Khare, Dr Deepak Sinha, Dr Vishwamitra Dayal, Dr Neelam Chandrakar, Dr Ashwani Shukla, Dr Prabhakar Mishra, Dr Bhaskar Rao, Shiv Jaiswal, Ramawtar Tiwari, Akhilesh Singh, Sanjay Nayak, Shankar Sahni, Shiv Jaiswal, Ajay Tiwari, Zakir Mohammad were specially present.
In his address, Dr Ranjan Sen Gupta said that we all should respect the sacrifices made by our ancestors for bringing freedom of the country.
Dr Kesharwani in his brief speech greeted everyone on Independence Day and said that he being a doctor has the message for all to follow the Corona appropriate behaviour made by the government to protect against Covid and thus keep family safe from the epidemic.
In his address, Sanjay Tiwari, Chairman of the Hospital, congratulated the people for Independence Day and said that SR Hospital and Research Centre would be ever ready to serve the society whenever the need arises.
The hospital management also felicitated the staff who served during the pandemic period of Covid-19 with shawl, shriphal and citation. Among those felicitated were Abha Khute, Jagjit Narayan Pandey, Ajay Aggarwal, Parvati Singh, Jyoti Dhruva, Chetna Shukla, Priyesh Mishra, Preeti Mishra, Laxmi Narayan, Akanksha and Raju Yadav.
