Blood donation camp held for anemic patients

A blood donation camp was organised at NH Goel World School campus by Cambridge wing with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of blood donation and collecting blood to meet requirements of thalassemia and sickle cell anemic patients which is widely prevalent in Chhattisgarh. The event was organized by Cambridge Wing, initiated by Kshirin Khatwani, Hemika Jindal, Shristi Jain and Mayank Deep Sachdev of 11(i) in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society. Sudeep Shrivastav, State consultant of Indian Red Cross Society, was also present throughout the camp and encouraged participants to make this event a success.

Participants registered and underwent a screening process to ensure eligibility. Qualified donors donated blood under the supervision of trained medical professionals. Refreshments and a certificate was provided post- donation as a token of gratitude.

The blood donation camp successfully raised awareness and collected a substantial number of blood units. The event emphasized the importance of blood donation and created a culture of giving within the community.
