Ensure quality in all the construction works: Mayor

Mayor Korba Municipal Corporation (KMC) Rajkishore Prasad directed the Engineers and construction agencies of KMC to pay special attention and focus on the quality of construction work being carried out and complete the same within stipulated time, so that the benefit of the development and construction work is passed on to the people on time. He said that during construction work, due attention should be paid towards safety of the labourers and provide them necessary safety instruments at the time of work.
The above instructions were given by the Mayor KMC during the inspection work of various construction works of KMC. It is with special efforts of Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management Jaisingh Agrawal that the School building of Govt Tribal High School in awrd No. 1 of Korba city is being re-constructed at the cost of Rs 7 crore. It is being done through CSR funds by KMC and presently the work upto the plinth level is in progress, along with beam and other works.
In the same way in ward No. 20 Kanshinagar, KMC is constructed Working Women’s Hostel behind a garden and this work is in the final stage. Mayor also conducted inspection of the above work and while checking the work that of electrical fitting, lat-bath, interior decoration, kitchen, water supply and other facilities in the building, Mayor directed the construction agency and its engineer to ensure quality in the construction work and gave necessary instructions to officers for construction of approach road to the hostel.
During the inspection, Mayor-in-Council members viz. Santosh Rathore, corproator Narayan Das Manikpuri, Zone Commissioner RK Choubey, Asst. Engineer Leeladhar Patel, Aakash Agrawal, Prateek Agrawal, Vijay Kumar, Santosh Agrawal, Deepak Kumar and other persons were present.
