NSUI arrested mid-way to gherao LS MP’s house

Raipur, Jul 18: With increasing unemployment in the country and state, NSUI Raipur unit tried to gheraoe the residence of LS MP Sunil Soni here on Sunday, but they were arrested mid-way by police where barricade was erected. As per instructions from State President NSUI Aakash Sharma and District President Amit Sharma , NSUI party workers in large number gheraoed residence of LS MP Sunil Soni and raised slogns ‘Rojgar do ya Kafan do’ to register protest.
NSUI charged that the tall claims by the central government led by BJP for providing employment to large number of youth is mere lollypop. District General Secretary Prashant Goswami said that the way the BJP leaders making statement on employment for this they should be awarded. People have not understood true nature of politics with false promises and intentions by BJP, he alleged.
It is notable here that in this protest by NSUI, many degree-holder unemployed youth in large number were dressed in the attire of a scholar and went on to gherao residence of LS MP Soni. Prashant further charged that if the central government does not provide solution to this unemployment to youth, then they will be forced to take to street and intensify their protest and entire responsibility will be that of the BJP government. Those present in the protest included, District Gen. Secy. Nikhil Vanjari, Mehtab Hussain, District Secy. Rajkumar Yadav, Rajesh Sahu, Tarun, Lukka Yadav, Virat Sahu, Monti Rajput, Goldi Yadav, Dinesh Pintu, Ankit Sharma, Sewa Prasant Chandrakar, Shivank Singh, Uday Pappu, Rahul Navin, Daddu, Himanshu and hundreds of other party workers.
