Lockdown extended till April 26 with certain relaxations

Considering the large number of Covid patients, the lockdown has been extended till April 26 in Durg District. However, District Collector has provided certain relaxations in this period. But liquor shops will remain closed.
According to the order issued on April 17, the entire Durg District has been declared containment zone till 06:00 hrs of April 26. All the borders of the district will remain sealed during this period. The hospitals, medical stores, clinics and veterinary hospitals will operate in their scheduled timing. The medical shops will prefer home delivery of medicines. Government Fair Price shops will operate as per the fixed timings. The shops keepers will have to ensure use of masks, physical distancing and other norms. All the markets, wholesale / retail groceries shops will remain closed. However, the door to door vendors will be able to acquire the food products directly from farmers and sell the same. These food items include fruits, vegetables, eggs, and groceries (rice, pulses, flour, edible oil and salt). Street vendors will be allowed during 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs.
Fuel stations will refuel only the exempted vehicles. Milk parlours, milk vendors and news paper hawkers will be allowed during 06:00 hrs to 08:00 hrs as well as 17:00 hrs to 18:30 hrs. Any shop will not be opened for selling milk. Pet shops will be allowed during 06:00 hrs to 08:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs to 18:30 hrs. Gas Agencies will accept online / telephonic booking and ensure home delivery of cylinders. Industries and construction sites will be able to operate with arrangement of onsite stay of labours. All the liquor shops will also remain closed during this period. All the religious, cultural and tourist spots will remain closed. Other restrictions will continue in lines with the previous lockdown.
