Fire in Raipur SBI zonal office, causes panic among staff

Raipur, Jun 11: A fire broke out in SBI’s zonal office at Pensionbada, Raipur on Friday morning. The fire caused panic in the office and bank staff came out of the building premises. At the same time, after the information of the matter, two fire tenders reached the spot and were pressed into service to douse the flames. Bank staff saw the smoke coming out of the bank building in the morning hours and immediately informed the fire brigade.
As per the information, the fire that broke out in the SBI office has reached the record room of the fourth floor. Kotwali police has also reached the spot and were engaged in extinguishing the fire. At the same time, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained now. Fire officer said they have majorly controlled the fire.
