Mega Credit Camp gets enormous response

Bhilai, Oct 28: District Lead Bank – Bank of Baroda organised a mega credit camp at its Rural Self Employment Training Institute, Chikhli Road, Junwani on Thursday. Under the direction of District Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and Bank of Baroda Regional Head Arvind Katkar, the camp was organized by Lead District Manager Dilip Nayak. The camp was formally inaugurated by Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure.
Addressing the inaugural function, Dr Bhure said that the main objective of this camp is to promote micro, small and medium industries so that people can get maximum employment opportunities in the country. On the occasion, Amit Banerjee, Deputy Regional Manager, Bank of Baroda, RSETI Director Jitendra Singh and senior executives of other banks were also present.
All the banks of Durg-Bhilai participated in the camp and had put up their stalls. According to the instructions of the Financial Services Department of the Central Government, this mega loan fair was organized by the District Lead Office to provide information about all the schemes run by the Government of India and financial services provided by the government banks and disbursement of loans under all government schemes.
In view of the festive season, credit flow is being promoted in Durg district. Bank officials gave detailed information to the visitors about government sponsored schemes like Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme, Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), NULM, Fisheries, Dairy Enterprises, Kisan Credit Card, Mudra Yojana (Shishu, Kishor, Tarun) etc.
Apart from this, information was given to the entrepreneurs about home loan, vehicle loan, property loan, medium scale enterprise, etc. Loans worth Rs 43.26 crore were sanctioned to a total of 1058 beneficiaries by various banks of the district.
